Shelter:

In Puerto Rico, we have an apartment that costs 290$/month. 

Food:
Depending on where we are, our food costs vary. For now, we consume an average of $250 of groceries per month. We anticipate lower expenses once we have a flourishing food forest on the land.

 

Miscellaneous: household, hygiene products, clothes, shoes, etc. 

Madeleine: 50/month

Transportation:
Until the Fund of Abundance has enough funds to purchase a long-term sustainable vehicle for the community, our current costs for the car i 300$/month on the car we own, including insurance, gas, and repairs.

Occasional access to a rented or borrowed vehicle: approximately 0-500$ per year

Administration:
We are approximately 5000$ in debt, 1800$ of which went to paying for Maddy's green card.

Travel:

• Jeremy: Trip to India & Nepal with my mom this fall: 0-3000$ 

• Maddy: To be announced

Leisure:

• Jeremy: to go on a multiple day outdoor adventure twice a year: Approximate cost:  $0-1000

• Jeremy: spontaneous opportunities for joy: $0-100/month

• Maddy: to go on adventures or travel with friends or family: $0-1,200/year

• Maddy: activities (dance, surf,...): $0-80/month?

We both have a need for finances to honour our call to be generous, whether that is cooking for others, expressing gratitude  (i.e for accommodation),  donating to projects, buying gifts or traveling to see someone in need etc.
